When the future of the country was at stake, Congress failed.
I don’t care whose fault it is. All of you fell asleep at the switch and allowed this to happen. Now, instead of fixing the damn problem, you’re going home to campaign.
How do you expect us to recognize your legitimacy when you put politics ahead of country at arguably the most dire economic situation in the history of this country?
You’re fired.
